THE 2ND RAY
GOLDEN FLAME OF WISDOM, PERCEPTION
2nd Ray serves humanity by nurturing the consciousness of those endowed with the ability to impart Wisdom and True Knowledge through various avenues and channels benefiting the human race. It is the ray of teachers and educators.
The current Chohan of the 2nd Ray is Ascended Master Jesus. He took over the role, focusing on the qualities of the 2nd Ray, which are Wisdom, Joy, and Lightness of Being, embodying the Christ Consciousness of the ray onto humanity. Ascended Master Lanto is another significant figure associated with the 2nd Ray. He has served as the Chohan of the 2nd Ray before, focusing on the ray’s attributes of wisdom and illumination.
Djwal Kul, also known as Master D.K. or the Tibetan, is closely linked to the teachings of theosophy and the ascended masters but is primarily associated with the teachings of Alice A. Bailey. He is often related to the 2nd Ray as well due to his deep involvement in the dissemination of wisdom and esoteric knowledge.
Those aligned with the 2nd Ray aspire to foster a deeper understanding among people of every nation and race. True world brotherhood can only materialize through the expansion of consciousness and the development of an understanding heart within all humanity.
The Ray of Wisdom transcends mere intellectual accumulation of facts and mental prowess as perceived by the world. True Wisdom emanates from comprehending the Laws of Life and applying them. This requires listening to the Voice of Silence with humility and silent reverence. The wiser one becomes, the quieter the tongue, the calmer the emotional realm, and the less reliance on the brain for thought.
This ray also symbolizes the second person of the Christian Trinity, known as the Son, representing the path of wisdom, attentive listening, and patient waiting. This stage is among the most challenging on the spiritual journey. Until one hears the Voice of Silence, we are merely skimming the surface of life, echoing hollow praises that reverberate only within their own ears.
